From within the new leadership at Health & Human Services (HHS), some anticipated and current payment models tied to MACRA are advancing, while others not-yet-tied to MACRA are being delayed.
MSSP Track 1+ was officially unveiled post-election through a CMS webinar March 22, and CPC+ has moved to round two. Also, but prior to the presidential election, CMS put forth several new bundled payment models whose start dates have been delayed.

A total of 75 leaders in healthcare information technology have been named to Health Data Management’s second annual list of the Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT. To determine which executives to honor, HDM solicited nominations from its readers. HDM editors then submitted their own recommendations, based on their knowledge of the industry. The editorial staff then reviewed each candidates’ qualifications and decided on the final list.
